Yigal Dongo

Yigal Dongo, born in Lima, Peru in 1978, is a self-taught painter recognized for his spontaneous approach and vibrant use of color and texture.  His work is characterized by a play of contrasts that reflects his deepest emotions and his vision of the world.

Dongo conceives painting as a bridge between his inner world and the viewer, inviting them to a unique sensory experience. Each canvas becomes a space where creative freedom and improvisation guide the process, resulting in works that are a direct manifestation of his thoughts and feelings.
